Refiner's Fire...

Sabbath, March 13, 2010

Who do you think I am?   Do you suppose I am just a loud mouth standing here being hard and unrelenting all the day?   Who am I?   Am I just somebody that has taken it upon himself to correct and to admonish and to rebuke.   Who am I?   I am that voice in the wilderness sent by God to a stiff-neck people who have forgotten Him days without number.   Who am I?   I am here:

1Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the master, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. 2But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: 3And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver:   (Mal.3.1-3)

Part-time Sabbath keepers

Sabbath, March 13, 2010

I have folks who suppose they can keep the Sabbath when it is convenient, but when they want to do something contrary to keeping the Sabbath, they go ahead and do it.   Well, consider: if the Sabbath is one of the Ten Commandments, which includes 'Thou shall not kill...', they what do you do with that?   Do you kill (speak evil of someone) when it comes to you?   Do you commit adultery just part of the time?   Do you steal just once in a while?   Do you suppose you shall be clear of sin...since sin is the transgression of the law (1 Jn.3.4 KJV).   So, you will either keep the Sabbath all the time according to the Commandment or you will die, since the wages of sin is death.
Just thought you needed to know that?

Amazing

Friday, March 12, 2010

Our son Jeremiah has been here this past week overhauling our solar systems; we have three system with solar panels, batteries, controllers, and all the switching and cables...I have never seen such an energetic focused person in all my life as my son Jeremiah; I get worn our just following him around; he works in the cold rain and when it is snowing, but now after a week, our systems are up and running and doing much better.
I still an getting aggravation from my critics; they are angry because I will not post their filthy and rude speech; one said this morning that I am as '...Communist Russia; you have to watch want you say or you get deleted'.
The long wet and cold winter here is finally breaking up; we have seen dry ground only two times this past winter...

Parable of the Sower

Sabbath, March 6, 2010

I have watched people come and go for over 53 years; when they are confronted with the truth, the Parable of the Sower comes into play; those who first hear it receive it with joy, but as Jesus said their families would be their enemy, so it happens and they fall away; then some come who pass through the first but then are confronted with persecution from brethren and friends, and they fall away; then comes the third group; they are those who hear the Word but fall away when they learn that they must give up their wealth to become disciples of Jesus Christ, THEN there is the last group who are willing to pay the prince who are willing to give their all as Jesus sais:

36Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law? 37And he said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38This is the great and first commandment.   (Mt.22.36-38)

There are so many things to keep people out of the laceType w:st="on">KingdomlaceType> of laceName w:st="on">GodlaceName> because folks just will not go all the way…as Jesus said again:

13Enter you in by the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many are they that enter in thereby. 14For narrow is the gate, and straitened the way, that leads unto life, and few are they that find it.   (Mt.7.13,14)

Question is, which are you?

Like Pulling Teeth

Monday, March 01, 2010

Folks look at the destruction in Haiti and Chili with no fear at all even thought they know they are not where they should be with God.   The people in Haiti and Chili were feeling just as secure before disaster struck them…so what am I trying to say?

It is like pulling teeth to get people to study their Bibles; they have so many things in their lives distracting them, but the important things they do not care about, and seeking God now is just about the most important thing there is.  Nevertheless, complacency and lethargy takes its toll…reminds me of this”

24    The sluggard buries his hand in the dish,

And will not so much as bring it to his mouth again

     (Pro.19.24)

So folks, you might wonder where the next earthquake will strike…somebody said they come in threes…we will see.

Using the Internet

Friday, February 26, 2010

Children of God, listen to me: do NOT go on the Internet for definitions for my Bible questions; you will only get messed up.  Use only the study tools I tell you and for sure, do NOT use Strong's concordance; it is nothing but a glorified dictionary.   Do NOT use lexicons, commentaries or books about the Bible...you have to dig it out on your own if you are going to get anywhere with God.
If you have come to me for instruction, you will find that I have receive it the same way; Young's Analytical Concordance, the King James Version, and the American Standard Version will get you deep into the Word of God.

Still no Evidence that I am Elijah

Thursday, February 25, 2010

I had a swarm of critics come today, it just ticks them off that I have such confidence when they do not see me bringing down fire from heaven...they are as so many wanting signs for proof, so let's have a little study; let's start here:

15Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. 16By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but the corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. 18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20Therefore by their fruits ye shall know them. 21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.  Mt.7.15-23

Jesus is going to tell us how to discern false propets, then in verse says has many will come to him telling him that they worked miracles, and cast out demons, and prophesied, but Jesus answers, 'I never knew you, depart from me, you that work iniquity.'   He did not give them one bit of credit for working all those signs and miracles, then we go here:

33Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree corrupt, and its fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by its fruit. 34Ye offspring of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. 35The good man out of his good treasure bringeth forth good things: and the evil man out of his evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 36And I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. 37For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
(Mt.12.33ff)

You see, working signs and miracles does not prove ANYTHING; it is what comes out of your mouth that matters...so you critics, find something I have said that is in error if you want proof that I am not Elijah.

All Things are Possible

 February 24, 2010

I get ridicule and sarcasm almost every day from critics who say I am a false prophet and deceive myself in thinking that God speaks to me, but I do not care want my critics think; I know where I have been and the price I have paid to get here.   I am not talking about my desire to Elijah, but I want to show the world what is possible if you can believe what Jesus said here:

All things are possible to him that believes...  (Mk.9.23)

No one has ever proved this, but I am going to; I have sought God with all my heart for over half a century; I have fasted more than any man in this generation; I have suffered more pain than any man in this generation; I have studied more than any man in this generation, not because I wanted to be some great icon, but I want to show all what is possible if they will take hold of the Word of God and do it.   I believe what Jesus said, and I am going go prove what he said.
So if that makes me a lunatic, so be it, but I have no doubt in my heart that I will indeed accomplish this.   I am 78 years old today.

More than Enough

Wednesday, February 24, 2010

For those of you who have studied with me several months, I have given you more than enough to get you into the Kingdom of Heaven; you have slowed and are not submitting as you were, except there are a few who are still working hard on the questions; I do want you to continue.
So, I will not be posting any more assignments or questions on this blog.   There is plenty for you to study without adding any more.
